One thing I learned from other toy photographers is it isn't enough to have a "realistic" background. You have to emulate the lighting of the background as well. If the light source is from the back, make it look like that.
The mirror acts like a precise reflector. It lights up a very small portion of your subject which in this case is BRS' sword and half her face.
I ended up with two shots.
